What do I have to do to enter?▾
Give us your name, phone number, and email. We call you, set a time, and stand a sign in your front yard. That puts you in the drawing.
Does it cost anything?▾
No. Hosting a sign is free and you are never required to hire us for anything.
How long does the sign have to stay up?▾
Leave it up through the drawing and you stay entered. If you want it gone sooner, call us and we will pull it. No hard feelings.
When is the drawing?▾
Friday, August 28. Get your entry in before then and you're in it. We draw once a month with a new prize each time, so if you do not win, your sign keeps you entered in the next one.
Can I enter more than once?▾
One entry per household per drawing. You can win again in a later month.
How will I know if I won?▾
We call the number you gave us. If we cannot reach you within 7 days, we draw another name.
Where do you put signs?▾
Anywhere in our service area: Bedford, Mitchell, Oolitic, Heltonville and the rest of Lawrence County, plus Paoli, French Lick, West Baden Springs and Orleans in Orange County.
Official Rules▾
No purchase necessary to enter or win. A purchase or use of Gerkin Construction services does not increase your odds of winning.
How to enter: Submit your name and phone number on this page, or call (812) 508-0614. Entry is confirmed once you agree to host a Gerkin Construction yard sign at your residence. Hosting the sign is free and it will be removed at any time on request; asking us to remove it does not forfeit an entry already in the current drawing.
Eligibility: Open to legal residents of Indiana, age 18 or older, who own or have permission to place a yard sign at a residence within Gerkin Construction's service area. Employees of Gerkin Construction and Hoover's Candy Shop and their immediate family members are not eligible.
Entry period: Winners are drawn monthly. One entry per person/household per drawing period.
Prize: Gerkin Tool Bag + 7 New Tools — 9 items with an approximate total retail value of $100+. Prize is awarded as a single package, is non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Actual prize may vary slightly from the images shown.
Winner selection: Winner is chosen at random from all eligible entries received during the period and notified by phone or email. Winner must respond within 7 days to claim the prize or an alternate winner may be selected.
